We recommend ABSORBED GLASS MAT ( A G M ) batteries because

they are sealed, maintenance free, and have no corrosive acids or gases.

however A G M batteries are more than double the cost of flooded lead acid

batteries, which are not sealed, need maintenance, and have acids and gases.

Flooded acid batteries can be used if you can provide secure and ventilated

storage space for them. Should you wish to use flooded acid batteries here
